Su-Zen Low -  CultureRun Co-Founder

A Film Studies Graduate from Kings College, London, she spent time learning Mandarin in China and traveling, before returning home. Led by a desire to promote an inspiring, fun and engaging community lifestyle in Kuala Lumpur, she founded The Culture Yard with her sister. They launched CultureRun in September 2011 - with the eventual goal of 'Making learning a lifestyle'. Trained as a fine artist at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in London she took two years off after graduation to travel, volunteer, learn Mandarin, do mission work and dip her feet in various industries before deciding to settle back home in Kuala Lumpur and starting The Culture Yard with her sister. Passionate about community, interaction and social development they founded The Culture Yard in August 2011 with the idea to Share, Inspire, and Connect.                                Crystal Cha

Graduated with an honours degree in Multimedia Journalism from Teesside University; worked for a year in the local media, and now works full-time for YTL Corporation Berhad. Is passionate about social media and social issues, particularly animal welfare and youth empowerment, and enjoys coming up with ideas for harnessing the former to address the latter. Currently participating in the competition of a lifetime to win a trip around the world to volunteer and do social work - Your Big Year 2012, organized by Smaller Earth in conjunction with Global Entrepreneurship Week.                            Leonard Chua
Enjoys music and is the lead guitarist for An Honest Mistake. AHM has performed on various stages, including the Baybeats Music Festival and Rock The World, and has also released an album. He is also interested in entrepreneurship, and is currently involved in creating marketing strategies for private corporations. He has already set milestones at a young age, whether as a musician, entrepreneur or simply as a person. Serena George

A History honours graduate from King's College London, she is in the midst of her two-year hiatus in between her undergraduate and postgraduate studies. She has spent the last year working as an intern in Corporate Communications and PR at a local events management firm in-between travelling around South East Asia. Is deeply interested in international affairs, in particular human rights and the trafficking of children. With goals of eventually entering the diplomatic world to promote and communicate awareness on such issues, she will be returning to London in September 2012 to pursue an MA in International Studies and Diplomacy at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Paul Goh
Graduated with an honours degree in Accounting and Finance; is a recipient of Securities Commission Malaysia’s Scholarship Award and is currently working with the Securities Commission Malaysia; known to friends as a sociable, outgoing, and down-to-earth person with a penchant for entertaining people and making them laugh with hilarious stories and witty but occasionally groan-inducing jokes, he is passionate about God, family, friends, music and football, and actively serves in church and youth-related activities.



Joanne Ng
She is currently enrolled as a pre-university student in Taylor’s University College. For a year after having graduated from high-school, she interned at Cempaka Performing Arts Company and involved herself in various voluntary activities. Well known for her great passion in anything and everything related to the performing arts, she aspires to be an avid performer and run her very own arts academy someday. Besides her love for performing arts, she also has a big appetite for food and Big Ideas.


Sam Vun 

Sam is a filmmaker and a dreamer, hailing from Sabah, the Land Below the Wind. He holds a Digital Film and TV Degree from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology. Upon graduating, he joined Alpha Malaysia as a media/video guy. Passionate about art, music and film, he hopes to create positive media that will impact people’s lives and inspire others to do the same. When he is not film 'making', you can usually find him on Facebook, randomly leaving comments on people's statuses, an activity which he finds incredibly fulfilling. Adrian Yap

Sandra Tan
A Jane of all trades but in the works of being a master of all. Reason is, she likes a lot of things. On top of undergoing the International Baccalaureate Diploma program, she feeds her passion for film and the making of through various projects on the side whilst volunteering her time to tutor children on the weekends. With a knack for new experiences, she dives into almost anything, expecting adventure and lifelong lessons. She is also a huge foodie at heart with an equally big appetite to stomach it all. Wei-Jan
Jan is an imaginative graphic designer and photographer with a dream of rocking the world for as long as she lives. She graduated with a Diploma in Visual Communication from Raffles International College (formerly Raffles Design Institute) and has participated in the Student Design Showcase at KL Design Week 2010. Luwita Hana Randhawa - Emcee
Luwita graduated at the end of 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in theatre and film from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand and has spent most of 2011 living in New York City where she has been attending Improv classes and interning at the Peoples Improv Theater in Manhattan. She would definitely recommend that everyone go to New Zealand and New York, if not immediately then at least before they die. Currently for 2012 she is considering pursuing postgraduate study in cultural studies but ultimately wants to be involved in anything creative and artistic, in particular through the mediums of film, television and new media.
