CultureRun are offering 10 exciting individuals the opportunity to be ‘Big Idea Ambassadors’ during the event. We are looking for volunteers with varied interests, outlooks and experiences to come in and help us on the day itself. Our volunteers need to be efficient, strong-willed, organised, well-spoken and enthusiastic about the event.
‘CultureRun’s Big Idea’ aims to bring together a wide range of minds in a casual environment where everyone is free to explore their ideas and thoughts through a discussion. This event is aimed towards students, fresh graduates and young urban professionals who are looking for inspirations, ideas and who would like to learn how to develop and grown these ideas. The event will include a number of panellists to help cultivate these ideas, solutions and thoughts.
As a volunteer you will gain an amazing experience participating in this event. You will be expected to help with any or one of the following tasks:
- Moderating the discussion groups – volunteers will be asked to ensure that discussions run smoothly, are efficient and stimulating.
- Set up and Logistics on the day itself – volunteers will be asked to set up the event before hand and will be required to come in 2 hours before the event begins. They will be involved in the production details of the event.
- Registration Counter – volunteers will be required to sign in and register participants to the event as well as welcoming and answering any questions participants may have. Again, volunteers will be required to be present at least 2 hours before the event begins.
- Attending to the speaker/panelists
- Sponsors/Marketing – volunteers will need to assist prior to the event with tasks such as promotion.
- Photography/Videography – volunteers skilled at either of the two can contact us to assist on the day itself. We would like some amazing memories to look back on!
Being a part of CultureRun team will provide you with the chance to meet and work with a diverse group of people. You will be involved in a project aimed at giving back and involving the whole community and geared towards social development – a new and completely original concept never seen before. As a volunteer, your name will also be up on the Big Idea website and you will get an automatic invite to the event – thereby giving you the chance to interact with other participants and the panelists on the day itself. Of course you will also be given freebies from our various sponsors – an incentive in itself!
